​To my parishioners at St. John the Baptist, the following:

First Communion and High School Confirmation

• ​Classes have been cancelled until further notice
• Parent Sessions and Parent Retreat has been cancelled until further notice.

 ​​RCIA / RCIC / Adult Confirmation

• Classes have been cancelled until further notice
• Youth Ministry (Life Teen & Edge)
• Life Nights and Edge Nights have been cancelled until further notice
• The Edge Retreat set for March 28th has been cancelled.

SJB School

• School not in session for the rest of March
• School offices will be close after Thursday indefinitely
• Bingo is cancelled until further notice
• Parents need to continue with tuition payments.

Gift Shop

• Gift Shop will be closed until further notice

Parish EVENTS

• Penance Service tonight (3/13/2020) is still on
• Ministry fair will be postponed to a later date
• No Ministries will be meeting until Further notice
• No Food Sales nor Raffle Ticket sales

Liturgical Services

• Scheduled masses have been cancelled
• No first reconciliation services
• Sunday masses will be Live-Streamed on our Instagram & Facebook page. Masses will be at 7, 830, 10, 1130, 230, 5 and 8
• Archbishop Gomez this morning sent out an email. Dispensing ALL Catholics in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles from mass on the Weekends of 3/14-3/15, 3/21-3/22, & 3/28-3/29. Dispensing - meaning it will not be a sin if you do not attend mass.

Parish Office

• Parish Office will currently be the only location where candles can be bought until further notice
• NEW OFFICE HOURS STARTING MONDAY 3/16: Monday - Friday 9am -6pm & Saturday 8am - 2pm

Escuela SJB

• La Escuela estará cerrada por el mes de marzo
• Las oficinas de la escuela estarán cerradas después del jueves indefinidamente

• Los padres deben continuar con los pagos mensuales.
  

Tienda de regalos

• La tienda de regalos estará cerrada hasta nuevo aviso

EVENTOS DE LA PARROQUIA

• El servicio penitencial de esta noche (13/03/2020) todavía se llevará a cabo
• La feria del ministerio se pospondrá hasta nuevo aviso
• NO se reunirán Ministerios/grupos hasta nuevo aviso
• NO hay ventas de comida ni boletos de la rifa
• El retiro de sanacion (3 y 4 de Abril está cancelado)

Servicios Litúrgicos

• Se han cancelado las masas programadas
• No hay primeros servicios de conciliación
• Las misas dominicales se transmitirán en vivo en nuestra página de Instagram y Facebook.Los horarios en que se transmitirá la misa son 7, 830, 10, 1130, 230, 5 y 8.
• El Arzobispo Gómez esta mañana envió un correo electrónico. Dispensar a TODOS los católicos de la Arquidiócesis de Los Ángeles de la misa los fines de semana del 3/14-3/15, 3/21-3/22 y 3/28-3/29. Dispensar - lo que significa que no será pecado si no asistes a misa.

Oficina parroquial

• La Oficina Parroquial será actualmente el único lugar donde se pueden comprar velas hasta nuevo aviso
• NUEVO HORARIO DE OFICINA A PARTIR DEL LUNES 3/16: lunes a viernes de 9 a.m. a 6 p.m. y sábado de 8 a.m. a 2 p.m.
